2017 Benefits Enrollment

Benefits Enrollment allows you the opportunity to enroll in the benefits that are right for you in 2017. Review the information on this page to ensure you are informed about your benefit options and select the right coverage for you and your family.

Enroll 30 days from your date of hire

You can enroll online or over the phone — quickly and easily. You must enroll online by midnight Central time or by phone before 6:00 p.m. Central time on or before 30 days from your date of hire.


Active Employees

Benefits Enrollment is your opportunity to make changes to your health and welfare coverage for the coming benefits year. Please review the plans carefully and make sure you are enrolled in plans that best fit the needs of you and your family.

There are multiple ways to enroll:

REMINDER, each year during Benefits Enrollment you must:

  • Complete your tobacco attestation if you currently have or enroll in Supplemental Life Insurance. If you don’t, you’ll pay higher tobacco rates in 2017 for the entire year.
  • Enroll in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) — if you wish to participate in the Health Care FSA and/or Dependent Care FSA.

Pre-65 Retirees

Phillips 66 offers the following medical options:

  • Consumer Plan — With the Consumer Plan, you have a higher annual deductible and out-of-pocket maximum, but pay lower employee contributions, and you have the option to contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA) for extra savings on taxes and out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.
  • Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) Plan — With a PPO Plan, you have a lower annual deductible and out-of-pocket maximum, but pay higher employee contributions.
  • Public Health Care Exchange (Exchange) — You have the option to obtain medical coverage through the Exchange, created as part of Health Care Reform. The options available on the Exchange will vary based on where you live. Phillips 66 has partnered with Health Coverage Resources, a service designed to educate and help you enroll in the coverage that meets your needs. Visit Health Coverage Resources for details.

COBRA

The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) may allow you and/or your dependents to continue medical, dental, vision, and Resources for Living coverage if that coverage is lost due to a “qualifying event,” (for example, you leave the company, you and your spouse divorce or your child reaches the plan’s upper age limit). You pay the full cost for COBRA coverage.
