Commuter Accounts

Like flexible spending accounts (FSAs), commuter accounts offer a before-tax benefit via payroll deduction. All eligible U.S. employees who travel to work using public transportation – such as trains, buses, subways, ferries, or vanpools – and/or pay for parking at or near work are exempt from federal and state* income, Social Security, and Medicare withholding on these expenses (up to established limits).

If you would like to participate, follow these three simple steps to enroll and purchase commuter products online:

  1. Log on to digital.alight.com/phillips66 and navigate to the commuter account tile on the home screen. For single sign-on access to the platform, visit UPoint via My HR Tools and select the commuter account tile.
  2. On the commuter account dashboard, click the Place an Order hyperlink
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to initiate your transaction and submit your order.

*Excludes Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Massachusetts allows before-tax benefit at different amounts depending on type of benefit.

Phillips 66 firmly believes in improving the communities in which our employees live and work. When you donate money to your favorite charities, we match your donations with company money. Retiree donations are matched dollar-for-dollar up to $7,500 a year.

Employees and retirees are able to donate via their credit card through the platform, or by uploading a receipt from an offline donation. Current employees are also able to give to eligible 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations through payroll deductions.
