To help you think about how your life change will affect you, review the following list.

Note: The following applies to regular full-time or regular part-time employees scheduled to work an average of at least 20 hours a week.

Ask Yourself Take Action
What coverage is right for you? Choosing benefits coverage is an important decision, so take advantage of our decision-making tools and resources.
Are you planning to enroll dependents? If so, familiarize yourself with our dependent eligibility guidelines.
What health care coverage best meets your needs? Review our plans to see which coverage best suits your needs.
Would you like to save on health care and/or dependent daycare expenses? If so, consider contributing to the Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA) and/or the Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA).

If you enroll in the HDHP option, you also have the option to enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA) for tax-free health care savings.
Do you want extra financial protection in addition to basic life insurance coverage? If so, you may want to consider supplemental life insurance options and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance.
Do you want help building your financial security? Learn about the Phillips 66 Cash Balance Account (our pension plan) and the Phillips 66 Savings Plan.
Are you interested in income protection? While Phillips 66 provides company-paid Short-Term Disability (STD) coverage, you may want to consider purchasing Long-Term Disability (LTD) coverage.
Will you need to update your beneficiary designation? Although you may not see a need right now, it’s still a good idea to designate a beneficiary for your life, AD&D, pension, savings benefits and HSA.
Did you receive any Restricted Stock Unit awards? You may have been given a restricted stock unit grant upon joining Phillips 66. You will need to set up a Merrill Lynch account to track this award.
  • Log on to Merrill Lynch for instructions. You will receive additional information during your first month of employment.
Do your financial goals need adjusting due to recent changes?
Are you feeling anxious about this life change?
  • Daylight is a digital medicine app for managing anxiety available to active employees and dependents age 18+ enrolled in the HDHP or PPO medical plan.
